Because this maple hardwood is so exceptional, we’ve assembled this board using the edge grain. This allows you to appreciate the color and grain of the wood while still making strength a priority. We then used our very special blend of mineral oil and natural beeswax to seal and protect it from damage. To keep it protected, clean with a damp sponge only. Never submerge it in water or allow it to stand in a drain board or on a wet countertop. Also, we recommend that you re-coat this board with a food-grade mineral oil at least once a month. By doing so, you ensure this quality cutting board will be in your family for years to come.
